EDP Travel Explained
Dover Soccer initiated their EDP program in the Fall of 2010 to provide kids with a natural stepping stone from Recreational Soccer League into the beginnings of Travel League.
EDP Travel will consist of one practice per week, that will include focus on individual ball handling skills, combined with small sided games played on weekends - please note, some travel may be required for these games.
Travel EDP teams include practice once a week, 4 or more GAMES and several Travel EDP Jamborees!
DSA will structure the EDP program to be fun and teach basic skills, while also offering the opportunities for young players, (specifically the U7 & U8 age bracket) to put these skills to use.
EDP Travel Coaches are encouraged to have taken at least the NHSA U6-U8 Youth Module. This course entails attendance at a class that last approx. 6hrs. Details on this course, upcoming dates and course notification sign ups can be found here:NHSA Coaching Courses
