Required Evaluations for Team Placement

All U9-U15 players wishing to compete in the DSA travel league must complete a placement evaluation process to determine players’ current skill level, motivation and abilities.

U9 Fall Girls/Boys - Wed., May 16th, Shaw's Lane Fields, 5:30pm-7pm

U10-U12 Girls/Boys - Tue., May 15th, Shaw's Lane Fields, 5:45pm-7:15pm

U13-U15 Girls/Boys - Tue., May 15th, Shaw's Lane Fields, 4pm-5:30pm

You must complete this US Club Soccer form, sign, and turn it in at evalutions!

Team announcements will be made a few weeks after evaluations. In the meantime, feel free to contact info@doversoccer.org with any questions.

Training Player Option

DSA understands not all players may be ready to play at the competitive travel level. With that in mind, DSA has created the role of a “Training Player” to help develop players. Training players will be identified during travel evaluations, will practice with their team twice a week, and may have the ability to play in games once the coach determines developmental wise the player is ready. Training players pay (1/2) half the travel fee for that age group, and will be issued a uniform jersey to be returned at the end of the season.

DSA Travel Uniform Orders
Starting in 2017, Dover Soccer switched to a different style uniform. In order to ensure uniforms arrive in time for the season, orders must be placed 6-8 weeks in advance. For the 2018 Fall Travel season the uniform ordering deadline is Sunday, June 10th. Ordering information will be provided to ensure proper player numbers are kept. You will receive an email including the order link, sale code, and uniform number assignment once the uniform store is open. The full kit is required attire for every DSA Travel Soccer Player for all games. Uniforms are not worn for practices. NOTE: All orders for DSA jerseys are final and cannot be refunded.

About Dover Travel Soccer

The DSA Travel program currently serves the City of Dover and surrounding communities. DSA Travel Soccer is designed for appropriately motivated players, ages U9 and older in the fall and spring seasons. DSA Travel Soccer provides an outlet for players to play with and against those of similar motivation and ability in a fun and competitive environment.

Travel teams are registered to play with Northern New England Soccer League (NNESL) affiliated with US Club Soccer and/or New Hampshire Soccer League (NHSL). State affiliation is through the New Hampshire Soccer Association.

Travel soccer commitments include two practices a week, and eight NHSL league games. These games are played on Saturday and Sundays (played either home or away). Spring Season starts mid-April and finishes mid-June. Fall Season starts mid-August and may run through early November. If your child is 11U+ and their team progresses in to the NHSL end of season playoffs, the season could be extended 1-2 weeks. DSA travel soccer also may include multi-game tournaments on Memorial Day weekend and Columbus Day weekend and may include a multi-game jamboree at the beginning of the season.

A player's team age range is determined as birth-year, as set forth by US Soccer. See the new age chart.

Travel Coaches are strongly encouraged to have taken the age appropriate coaching course. Details on available courses, upcoming dates and course notification sign ups can be found here:
